Redline Safety provides specialist confined space safety, rescue and access services to organisations across the North West and throughout the UK.
Based in Warrington, our experienced teams support work in some of the most challenging environments – from sewers, tanks and culverts to industrial vessels, tunnels, shafts, chambers and complex structures.
We work alongside contractors, utilities, manufacturers, engineering companies and facilities teams to help plan, manage and safely deliver confined space work.

Redline Safety is led by Helen Collins and Terry Byrne, who bring more than 50 years’ combined experience in confined space safety, civil engineering, technical access and high-risk working environments.
That experience extends from the planning and management of confined space operations through to working inside the spaces themselves.
It means we understand both sides of the job: what needs to work on paper, and what actually works at the point of entry.
After almost two decades of working together, Helen and Terry established Redline Safety in 2020 around a straightforward principle: to provide knowledgeable, practical confined space support without making safety unnecessarily complicated.
From our Warrington base, Redline Safety is ideally located to provide confined space rescue teams and specialist safety support throughout Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, North Wales and the wider North West.

No two confined spaces are quite the same.
Our teams work across manufacturing, utilities (water, wastewater gas and electricity), manufacturing, construction, pharmacetical, pertrochemical, infrastructure, facilities management and other industrial environments.
That can mean providing rescue cover for a straightforward vertical entry one day and developing a solution for a complex access, atmospheric or rescue problem the next.
We don’t try to make the job fit a standard solution. We make the solution fit the job.
Confined space work doesn’t always fit neatly into a standard procedure. Different access arrangements, changing atmospheres, complex structures and difficult rescue scenarios all require people who understand the risks and can adapt accordingly.
At Redline, confined space safety is our specialist area. Our teams don’t simply arrive to provide rescue cover – we look at the entry, the hazards, the equipment, the method of work and, importantly, whether the proposed rescue plan would actually work.
We combine experienced people with specialist equipment and a practical approach to safety. If something doesn’t look right, we’ll say so. If there’s a better way of doing it, we’ll help find it.
Our job isn’t to make confined space work complicated. It’s to make sure it’s properly planned, properly supported and, if something goes wrong, everyone knows exactly what happens next.
